is it really a bar on wheels?

no. that would be wildly illegal. we offer a unique bartending service. that service being pouring your alcohol. our mobile bar trailer is designed to give your guests the experience of a professional, elegant walk up bar with a twist…it doubles as a photobooth and prop for your photographer!

ok, so if you don’t bring the alcohol how does this work?

we work in accordance with alaska state liquor laws, which does not allow the purchase, sale or transportation of alcohol for mobile businesses. all of our packages are dry packages that include an initial phone consult to go over basics/pricing & once booked, a zoom/facetime meeting where we will plan your bar service together. we will then design a custom drink menu and supply you with a simple shopping list of alcohol needed for your event…making your legwork as easy as a trip to costco. you bring the booze, we bring the magic!

what does your service include?

all packages include rental of the trailer, set-up (beginning 2 hours before event), clean-up, 4 hours of service for up to 60 guests with a taps certified bartender, custom drink menu planning and alcohol shopping list, custom bar signs, use of photo wall, eco-friendly products and everything you need to make your guests’ experience a memorable one. (additional service hours and guest counts can always be added).

why hire a taps certified bartender? my cousin offered to do it for free.

while i’m sure cousin sammy makes a mean rum & coke, it’s always a good idea to have a bartender that is trained serving your guests. as professionals, we know how to make sure your guests aren’t being over-served or served too quickly so everyone lasts the night. it’s hard to cut someone off if they’re a friend or family member. we want everyone to have a good time and remember your night!

what parts of alaska do you service?

our trailer’s home base is in the matsu-valley. our prices include travel anywhere from talkeetna to girdwood. but we will travel as far as fairbanks or homer for an additional $1/mile travel fee + lodging. please contact us to inquire about your event’s location in alaska.

what are the requirements for service?

the trailer needs approximately 50 ft. to maneuver and park. for certain events, a power source with 15-amp/240v plug in is required (if no plug in available, quiet generator is available for extra charge).

your event must be a private event with an open bar. we are not permitted to work public/advertised events or cash bars unless the event thrower is a business with their own liquor license for us to work under.

If you own a Bar, brewery or restaurant and want our trailer there to serve your alcohol at an event, contact us. we’d love to work with you!

is a down payment required?

yes. after our initial free phone consultation, you will be sent a proposal with a contract to sign to reserve your date and a 50% non-refundable deposit will be due at that time. once your investment is made, you’ll be automatically redirected to schedule your zoom/facetime session where we will plan your event together down to the very last detail. The remaining balance must be paid 2 weeks prior to your event. in the unfortunate circumstance of a postponed event, we will work with you to reschedule for a future date if our calendar permits.

can the trailer be decorated?

absolutely! want the tavern to match your flowers? we can work with you to decorate the trailer to match your event’s style. the trailer is equipped with hooks to hang floral/greenery garlands, balloons etc..

having a holiday or theme party and want the trailer and bartender in costume with themed cocktails? we love a challenge! hit us with your most out of the box ideas.

do you serve mocktails/kids/sober events?

we will gladly accommodate any event. having an event that is strictly sober? a child’s birthday, sweet sixteen or graduation and want fun mocktails for your underage guests? We’ve got you covered. contact us for a quote.

can i have a cash bar to make back the money spent on alcohol?

no. our services are for open bar situations only. we are not permitted by law to charge for alcohol. however, if you choose to buy your liquor at costco (recommended), they do accept returns if something was overpurchased!

we love the aesthetic and want the travelin’ tavern at our event, but our venue has a bartender that we must use. is the trailer for rent?

yes! we understand that certain venues/caterers may require you to serve your guests using their own staff and we are happy to rent the trailer out for your event day. we do offer early drop off & set-up as well as late pick up for use at your venue. the tavern must be operated by a taps certified bartender. please contact us for a quote.
